NEW HAND-WOUND CHRONOGRAPH MOVEMENT REKINDLES AMERICAN CLASSIC. The Hamilton Intra-Matic Chronograph H.
The statement-making chronographs Hamilton made in the late 1960s and early 1970s have proven rich inspiration for today’s American Classic favorites.
The new Hamilton Intra-Matic Chronograph H rekindles this golden age of sports watches with the bold return of a hand-wound chronograph to our collections.
Inspired directly by our popular Chronographs A and B of 1968, the piece seamlessly fits with existing designs while retaining a subtle individuality. With this satisfyingly unique character, it will appeal to those who appreciate the purity and complexity of a manually wound chronograph movement.
Hamilton INTRA-MATIC CHRONOGRAPH H
Not just a watch that tells the time, the Hamilton Intra-Matic Chronograph H is made to interact with: to wind, to activate the stopwatch, to feel and see directly the analogue craft that makes it possible.
To achieve this, we worked with our partners to develop a new hand-wound chronograph movement, the Hamilton caliber H-51. Featuring an extended power reserve of 60 hours, the new technology thoroughly modernizes a vintage favorite and is housed in a slim stainless steel case.
Super-LumiNova® accents on the black and white panda dial recall the color of aged radium, and a box-style sapphire crystal further evokes the typical characteristics of those peerless Hamilton chronographs of the 1960s and 1970s.
Sized to a versatile 40mm, and cased in stainless steel with either a black leather strap or mesh bracelet, the Hamilton Intra-Matic Chronograph H is a timepiece for anyone whose soul is truly stirred by mechanical watchmaking. We’re thrilled to be bringing hand-wound chronographs back to the Hamilton fold with this outstanding wristwatch.
The golden age of sports watches is rekindled in the vintage-inspired @hamiltonwatch Hamilton Intra-Matic Chronograph H. With a panda dial, new hand-wound movement and authentic heritage, this is a watch for the soul @hamiltonwatch
