Norderstedt, December 21 – G-SHOCK presents the new collaboration model from its collaboration with Moncler, the global icon and epitome of luxury sportswear. The G-SHOCK x Moncler collab is part of the “House of Genius” capsule collection designed by David Fischer, founder and CEO of Highsnobiety. The collection includes garments and accessories created from exclusive and limited collaborations: a real and modern universe of color and genius.
For the collaboration, the world’s most interesting brands were invited to express their creativity through an iconic piece from their collections and reinterpret it in Moncler’s signature style. For this project, G-SHOCK has chosen the new GM-2100, the stainless steel model in an octagonal case launched in October from the iconic 2100 series, which has generated a lot of hype this year. Two customizable and interchangeable straps are the result of this reinterpretation.
The new G-SHOCK x Moncler is available at Moncler pop-up stores in London, Seoul, Shanghai and New York. The design of the stores is modeled after a mountain lodge, reinventing Moncler’s alpine heritage. A unique space for freedom where new ideas take shape. The interior of the stores combines the bright Genius yellow, synonymous with “Moncler House of Genius,” along with mirrored surfaces reminiscent of a futuristic environment. The interplay of these different elements, serves to represent the digital nomads in a new and exciting way.
