As a family-owned company in its third generation, Circula stands for high-quality mechanical watches with a distinctive design. The new ProTrail is a unique, robust, and functional watch with both modern and classic elements. Robust case, functional dial

A field watch was used by the military “in the field,” i.e., in combat on the ground under harsh conditions. It had to be easy to read quickly and highly robust as a basis for coordinated actions. The new Circula Field Watch fulfills this requirement with its anti-magnetic and scratch-resistant properties. The modern case design with its multiple gradations also emphasizes the robust character of the watch. On the other hand, the dial is designed for pure functionality to ensure perfect readability.

The inner ring, with the numbers 13 to 24, helped soldiers to correctly indicate the time, e.g. 1600 (sixteen hundred) in US military jargon. The case has a diameter of 40 millimeters and is water-resistant to 150 meters. Sapphire crystal ensures a scratch-free view of the dial, which is coated with Swiss Super-LumiNova®. High-quality mechanical movements with automatic winding from Sellita in Switzerland ensure precise timekeeping. The built-in caliber SW200-1 Elaboré is a modern high-frequency movement with 28,800 vibrations per hour, 26 jewels, and a 41-hour power reserve.

Co-development with watch enthusiasts

The watch was designed in collaboration with watch enthusiasts from around the world. During the joint development process on the brand’s website, over 6,500 votes were cast on various aspects of the watch. This approach has already proven successful with the retro diving watch AquaSport, released in 2020, and the Super-Kompressor SuperSport, introduced in 2021. The result is watches that are affordable yet extremely high quality. Like all mechanical watches from Circula, the new Field Watch is also built in Pforzheim.
