Casio G-SHOCK DW-H5600 G-SQUAD
The first G-SHOCK was developed in 1983 with the goal of making a watch that would not break even if dropped. Since then, Casio has continued to evolve the functions, construction and design of the G-SHOCK, focusing on the watches’ shock resistance. The iconic shape of the very first model, the DW-5000C, has been passed down to subsequent generations of G-SHOCK timepieces, and the 5600 line, which has adopted this shape, has been continuously developed and equipped with the most advanced functions available in each new era.
The new DW-H5600 watches retain the shape of the very first G-SHOCK, but offer even more advanced features, all in a shock-resistant watch that comes with a heart rate monitor useful for sports activities. The new watches support four different activities or exercises – running, walking, fitness training and interval training – and are equipped with an optical sensor and accelerometer to measure heart rate, distance and calories burned. They use algorithms from Polar Electro Oy, an industry pioneer that has been perfecting the art of personalized fitness, sports and health advice for nearly 50 years, to provide training and sleep analysis based on recorded data.
