Origin and collaboration
The Ocean Graph MkII is more than just a reissue: it is the result of a genuine collaboration between traditional watchmaking and the practice of deep breath diving, spearheaded by Norwegian freediver Siri Østvold. The MkII takes the robustness and functionality of the historic 1968 original and adds targeted modernizations that are immediately noticeable in everyday use and under extreme conditions.

Design from the depths – Ocean Graph MkII
What sets this watch apart is the way in which concepts from competitive freediving have been translated into concrete design decisions: balance, readability, and haptic usability determined the design. The hands, indices, and notches are not only beautifully proportioned, but also designed to be read in a fraction of a second — a practical advantage that recreational divers and professionals particularly appreciate.

Case, water resistance, and dimensions
The MkII features a finely brushed 316L stainless steel case and combines solid construction with understated functionality; a screw-down case back and crown guard ensure the necessary strength. With a water resistance of 1000 m and a compact diameter of 39.5 mm, the watch remains a serious piece of equipment that is noticeable on the wrist without restricting the wearer’s freedom of movement.
The multifunctional bezel
One of the greatest innovations is the newly developed bezel, which combines several measuring systems: tide tracking, GMT, top time countdown, and a 20-minute diving scale. This concept allows you to plan ahead for high and low tides, track time zones, time the critical three minutes before a competition, and precisely document the initial phase of a dive — all via a single, intuitive component.

Dial, colors, and readability – Ocean Graph MkII
The dial follows a clear, practical color scheme: a deep blue with vibrant orange accents ensures instant recognition, while the hands and markers in pale green and cream are coated with Swiss Super-LumiNova® to ensure readability even in low light or underwater. This contrasting design is not a cosmetic trick, but a functional element that makes all the difference in real-world applications.
Drive and precision
Inside, the watch is powered by the custom-made Soprod Newton P092, an automatic caliber designed for stability and resilience with a frequency of 4 Hz and a power reserve of around 44 hours. The first 56 numbered pieces are delivered as chronometers; in addition, the watch can be COSC-certified for an extra charge — an indication that precision and resilience are taken equally seriously here.

Straps and versatility – Ocean Graph MkII
The MkII comes standard with a handmade blue Perlon strap that combines comfort and quick drying; there are also three distinctive alternatives: the historic Beads-of-Rice steel strap, a fine M-Heritage mesh, and the striking orange FROGMAN rubber with practical scales and conversion tables. This selection makes the watch versatile — from an everyday companion to a specialized instrument for expeditions.
Manufacture, testing, and service
The MkII is manufactured in the Swiss Jura and has undergone independent stress testing; the Soprod movement is Chronofiable-certified, and the manufacturer offers a multi-year warranty, demonstrating confidence in the watch’s durability and serviceability. Such testing and warranty coverage are not merely sales arguments, but part of a promise of quality that pays off in use.

Who benefits from the watch — and why
In short, the Ocean Graph MkII is designed for people who demand real functionality — from competitive freedivers and professional divers to enthusiasts who want to combine technical heritage with modern performance. It is not a fashion accessory, but a versatile tool that combines history, well-thought-out functions, and solid technology in a compact form suitable for everyday use.
