3. Longines Legend Diver Bronze dive watches

The Longines Legend Diver Bronze dive watch has been on the market since 2020 and, as part of the Heritage collection, revives the pioneering spirit of the traditional brand. It is a unique watch in so many ways. And not only because it is Longines’ only bronze representative in the collection. At first glance, the watch looks like a high-quality retro timepiece in a stylish bronze garb.

Underneath this garb, however, is a functional diver that is in no way inferior to the competition in terms of workmanship, choice of materials and functionality. The look, on the other hand, is just right for those who prefer elegance to functionality. With a flat design and bronze look, the watch fits on every wrist for every occasion. Longines charges a reasonable $3.000

4. Mido Ocean Star GMT

The Mido Ocean Star GMT dive watch black adds an interesting world time watch to the collection of the Swiss manufacturer. At first glance, the timepiece is not directly recognizable as a GMT, but impresses with the advantages of a diver’s watch. In addition to good materials, Mido also installs the caliber 80, whose power reserve is an impressive 80 hours.

When it comes to integrating the GMT theme, Mido has gotten creative. A time zone map is engraved on the caseback, which helps in setting the GMT time. One of the most amazing things, however, is the price-performance ratio. Mido estimates just 1.250 US dollars for the watch. For this quality, the competition charges much more. Conclusion: a daily rocker for all situations and requirements!

Retail Price: 1.250,- USD

6. Le Forban Sécurité Mer Brestoise retro dive watch

There is no end to the revival of retro-look black dive watches. This is not surprising, because there are timepieces like the Brestoise from the French brand Le Forban Sécurité Mer. The traditional manufacturer was successfully revived in 2019 and delights customers with classic watches at a reasonable price.

The Brestoise itself is a functional diver with compact dimensions, which takes the classic design of the 60s and 70s. All this manufactures Le Forban Sécurité Mer with particularly high-quality materials and very good workmanship. What is surprising is the price. For a recommended retail price of only 490 euros, you get a lot. If the design is still too functional, you can go for the Malouine, a related model.

If that’s not good value for money! I am curious to see how the watch will be received by customers. In any case, I have rarely seen such a mature product at market launch.
